How well are you getting stuff done?

After all these years of developing strategy for our clients, we have come to appreciate the enormous value of getting things done. Even if your plan is "so clever you could pin a tail on it and call it a weasel"1  - if it does not get put into practice its value rapidly approaches zero.

As mentioned elsewhere, planning has to be as practical as possible with continual testing for its ability to be put into practice. More frequently, we are getting involved in a hands-on role making sure that ideas are being successfully implemented within our client's organisations. Some examples of this are;


  • New product launches. There are a huge number of considerations for any organisation launching a new product. We are able to coordinate resources on a project basis (short or long term) to achieve the right outcomes.
  • Sales management and team structures. We often assist with restructuring or reorganisation of sales teams. This usually includes the processes by which pipelines and forecasting are managed alongside getting the right team members in the right positions.
  • Governance advice. Your board needs to understand and know how to support larger projects. We are able to offer short or long term board participation.
  • Marketing material updates. Often we are asked to assist with the preparation and production of new marketing material
