How well are you getting stuff done?
After all these years of developing strategy for our clients, we have come to appreciate the enormous value of getting things done. Even if your plan is "so clever you could pin a tail on it and call it a weasel"1 - if it does not get put into practice its value rapidly approaches zero. As mentioned elsewhere, planning has to be as practical as possible with continual testing for its ability to be put into practice.
