Concept to Market has been operating successfully since 2001, when it was first established as McLean & Associates Ltd. The company was initially focused on market entry planning and channels to market for technology companies looking to grow and prosper in new markets. Now 7 years old, that core focus remains, but is complemented by additional services that draw on related areas of expertise and experience.
Today we provide support in 3 related areas. We find that many of our clients require help across a mixture of these, depending on their prior experience, the resources available, their current state of development and the extent and nature of their longer term plans for their business:

We love what we do and enjoy seeing our clients succeed; we often end up keeping in touch with clients, working with them over a number of engagements. With a core team of three people and several associates, CTM occupies modern new premises on Auckland’s growing North Shore.
Richard has more than 20 years’ commercial experience in roles ranging from Sales support right through to Group General Management. With successful start-ups and the growth of large companies behind him, Richard enjoys helping New Zealand companies seeking to get new products to local or offshore markets.
Richard has 15 years experience specifically in the ICT sector and has held senior management positions in New Zealand and Australia. He spent several years building a small technology company into a large public company, eventually listing on NASDAQ.
His skills and experience range from sales and marketing to group management and governance. He currently serves as a non-executive director for an established New Zealand based global software company.
Richard also co-wrote and was a former facilitator of the Accelerated Business Growth course for owners and CEO’s of New Zealand technology businesses.
